Synopsis

INTEREST. Killing marabout for feathers.

Two white men, carrying guns, and natives preparing a hide with leaves and branches. The two hunters crawl inside (33). Marabout feeding on carrion used as bait (77). The hunters fire their guns from the hide (83). The birds fly off the carrion and one of the hunters retrieves two shot birds and lays them by the hide (113). One of the hunters in the hide, smoking (118). Firing again at the remainder of the birds and fetching them back (135-182). Natives, making their way back, carrying a number of birds strung on poles (210). Two birds strung upside down on a pole held by natives; the wings are spread out to show size (232). Workers plucking the breasts of the birds, which are strung on poles in a row (255). MCU a man taking out the feathers (269). CU of the man fluffing up the feathers on a bird (281). MCU the man taking out and showing the largest feathers, spreading them out in a fan (287ft). Incomplete.
