Synopsis

Tribal African village life.

"Equatorial Africa". Meeting of the village elders; the chief addressing them; warriors with spears; men returing from jungle with a dead animal. Young, scantily-clad girl skips across the screen in a contrived shot, Food being prepared by women. Coconuts and bananas being harvested. Building of a new hut; men smoking pipes; a witch doctor dancing `his dance of frenzy and hate'. `A strange dusky beauty' - a bare-breasted native woman. " A strange pagan myth...crude, fierce, unartistic, but justly proud of their way of life'.

Note: This film may be the same footage as the 1948 film of the same title with commentary added.
