Synopsis

AMATEUR FILM.

ARAB LEGION AMMAN. Filmed around April 1937 on the occasion of the annual parade of the Legion. The parade was taken by King Hussein but it is uncertain whether there is no footage of him in this film (30ft).

LAN TAU. Summit of mountain, valley shot from mountainside. Houses of the `holiday camp' (ext.). Swimming pool constructed from dammed stream. Men diving and swimming (26ft).

Note: Lan Tau was underdeveloped in 1937 and its attraction was as a `holiday camp'. which consisted of stone huts on the rudge of 2500 ft. It was used mainly by American missionaries in need of a holiday.
