Synopsis

Amateur film taken by the political agent in Quetta while on tour. Film taken by the Political Officer Mr barlow and accompanied by the Forest Officer Mr Mieklejohn. The first camp being set up by porters and local coolies. The carvan on the march. Greetings from the village elders. Rural life. The Officer enters a hut to receive the usual hospitality of rice beer and hard boiled eggs. Women bringing water in bamboo tubes. Porters bathing. Local carriers being paid in tea and cigarettes. Arrival back at the first Dak bunglaow.
