Synopsis

A description of the significant changes which have occured in tropical Africa during this century. The contrasts between rural and urban life are shown, and the effects of European influence and the problems of independence. Modern industries are illustrated, including copper mining, cotton, coffee, sugar, tea, cocoa, pyretheum and sisal.
