Synopsis

No title. A decorated street with banners carrying the words `Upholders of the Empire', `Welcome Home', with a railway station in the background (4). Part of a procession, consisting of an open carriage and cavalry, passes through a decorated street lined with troops and crowds (39). Lord Frederick Roberts precedes Lord Kitchener on his departure from the Hartley Institute. Lord Kitchener steps into an open carriage and salutes. General John French and the Mayor and Town Clerk are also present (54ft).
