Synopsis

TRAVELOGUE. Scenes in Sudan.

Main title. The new Nile bridge at Kosti with a steamer passing (13-38); ferry scenes at Omdurman - natives and camels embark and the ferry moves off (43-102); "The consecration of new cathedral - Khartoum 1912", church dignitaries and officials leaving the cathedral and driving off in procession (108-179). The Sirdar's garden party at the palace. The Sirdar at the time was Sir Reginald Wingate (185-225). Crowds on a station platform by a train (295ft). Incomplete.
