Synopsis

"Memorial serivce at St Paul's Cathedral to the Antarctic heroes. The arrival of the Lord Mayor of London and sheriffs." Arrival of the coaches. The Lord Mayor - Sir David Burnett - and other officials climb the steps of St Paul's (62). [14/2/1913].

"INDIA: ARMY MANOEUVRES. Scenes at the Indian Army manoeuvres." A supply train of mules followed by infantry crossing a plain. Infantry resting during a route march; buglers signal the resumption of the march, a British officer in the foreground (54).

"STRATFORD-ON-AVON. Motor reliability trial. Mid-Warwickshire Automobile Club arrange a 120 miles motor-cycle reliability trial." Seven motorcyles, some with sidecars and passengers, cross a bridge (22). A three-wheeler followed by three other motorcyles and sidecars (46).

"OXFORD TORPIDS. The struggle between the colleges of the University to be `Top of the River'" Eights on the river are followed by supporters who run along the towpath waving encouragment to their respective crews (73). [18/2/1913].
