Synopsis

Men of the RAF Regiment man gun positions on troopships in the Rangoon River before sailing for Singapore.

RAF Regiment airmen man a 20mm Oerlikon gun. A group of RAF and Army officers study a map. RAF men, along with a sailor, man a 20mm gun. RAF gunners man a 40mm Bofors gun. View of the coastline with trees. A small RAF motor launch (numbered '1608'), possibly a seaplane tender, pulls alongside a jetty. General Mansergh, commander of 5th Indian Division, boards the launch with Wing Commander Pimm.

Notes

General Mansergh spelt 'Manser' and Pimm spelt 'Pym' on dopesheet. A Squadron Leader Lennox also named but he is not apparent.
