Synopsis

Allied Air Commander-in-Chief South East Asia Command, Air Chief Marshal (ACM) Sir Keith Park, arrives at Kallang airport in Singapore, with his wife Lady Park.

At Kallang airport a silver Douglas Dakota transport aircraft arrives carrying ACM Park. The aircraft is serial KN561 and bears the name 'Baksheesh II' on its nose. The aircraft taxis to a halt. Park steps down from the aircraft and is saluted. Lady Park is greeted and helped down from the aircraft. Park and other officers talking amongst themselves. A flypast by eight RAF Thunderbolt fighters in close formation. Park inspects an RAF Regiment guard of honour. The party departs by car.

No dopesheets for this film. Cameraman is likely to be one of the two identified below. These identifications are tentative and based on the likelihood that they were in Singapore at the time. Most other RAF cameramen were elsewhere in south east Asia or had been repatriated.

Identification of Kallang is also tentative and based on the distinctive design of the terminal building.
