Lord Mountbatten, Supreme Allied Commander, South East Asia Command chairs a meeting with other senior British and American officers.

Present at the meeting are Air Marshal Sir Keith Park (Allied Air Commander-in-Chief) and Air Marshal Sir Guy Garrod (former Air Commander-in-Chief), Lieutenant-General Wheeler US Army (Deputy Supreme Allied Commander), Admiral Sir Arthur J Power RN (commander Eastern Fleet), Lieutenant-General Daniel Sultan US Army (commander, US Forces India-Burma Theatre), Lieutenant-General Sir Oliver Leese (commander Allied Land Forces South East Asia) and Lieutenant-General Browning (Chief of Staff, South East Asia Command).

Lcoation is probably South East Asia Command headquarters at Kandy, Ceylon (Sri Lanka).
