Synopsis

At a Traffic Control Post on the River Irrawaddy material is organised for ferry crossings to support a 20th Indian Division bridgehead.

Ordnance QF 40mm Bofors guns pass through the transit area of 20th Indian Division. Mules and DUKWs pass a sign saying Traffic Control Post. Stuart tanks of the 7th Light Cavalry Regiment, 254th Indian Tank Brigade, board ferries and are transported across the Irrawaddy River.

Notes

20th Indian Division's crossing of the Irrawaddy began on 12 February 1945. The Division was across the river in its entirety on 5 March, after bitter fighting.
