Synopsis

A Douglas C-54 Skymaster aircraft of the United States Army Air Force arrives at Kallang Airport, Singapore, to evacuate American internees.

Distant view, framed (and partly obscured) by an aircraft propeller in the foreground, of a Douglas C-54 Skymaster transport landing. Skymaster taxiing. It passes camera and 'Air Transport Command' can be read on its fuselage. Pan right shows a parked RAF De Havilland Mosquito, RAF Dakota transport, a transport variant Consolidated Liberator and the Skymaster in front of the Kallang terminal building. A lorry drives across the front of the terminal.
