Synopsis

I. "Captured German 88mm gun." US ordnance crew inspect and test 88mm gun; it is resprayed with US markings.

II. "CBI Capture Tengyuch Burma Road Barrier." Capture of Tengyuch. Supplies arrive by parachute, ammunition rushed in for US-trained Chinese soldiers; enemy pillbox attacked, Japanese soldiers desert it; Chinese infantry using bazookas; wounded Chinese being borne on stretchers; Lord Mountbatten visits Myitkyina.

III. "Mediterranean Fifth Army On Road to Bologna." Fifth Army reach Loino in poor weather conditions. New combat clothes issued to 2nd Battalion, 363rd Regiment, 91st Division before advance to Bologna.

IV. "Seized Film of Ploesti Oil Fields." Oil refinery on fire as a result of Allied bombing. King Michael I inspects smouldering ruins of refinery. Aerial view, Ruins of Rumanian aircraft factory; ruined rail terminus at Bucharest airport 14/9/1944.
