Synopsis

Amateur film, presumably shot by an officer of the East or South Lancashire Regiment serving in the arid north of India, records scenes of native life, British Army enjoying sports (cricket, swimming, polo), military parade, demonstration of hand grenade, soldiers in Army trucks, pitching camp, digging-out truck, soldiers on exercise, snow-covered mountains (Himalayas ?) in distance, and (Colour) tropical sunset. Start of reel is brief 1960s colour sequence of rugby match and couple bathing off tropical beach.
