Synopsis

I. "Three-Power Conference in North Africa": Churchill calls at Malta, then proceeds to Cairo to meet President Roosevelt, Chiang Kai-Shek, and Madame Chiang Kai-Shek, November, 1943.

II. "Prison Ship on the Rocks": A ship carrying Germans captured at Anzio runs into trouble off the Italian coast. The prisoners are taken off, but the ship cannot be saved.

III. "The Russian Front": First film from Southern Russia. The Red Army drives the Germans from Kharkov, which welcomes Generals Zhukov and Khrushchev.

IV "Roving Camera Reports": Black-out in New York. Volcano in Mexico. Slum clearance in New York's East Side. Miss America of 1946 contest in Atlantic City.

V. "Tirpitz Blitzed": British Naval aircraft hit the German battleship in a Baltic harbour.

VI. "Pacific battlefront": Allied combined operations landing at Cape Gloucester, New Britain, against the Japs: aerial bombing, warship bombardment. The Marines land and advance through jungle towards Rabaul.
