Synopsis
Amateur film without titles shot by Lieutenant Robert Scott-Moncrieff, Royal Artillery, possibly when serving with 6th (Jacobs) Mountain Battery RA at Razmak, records Darya Khan railway station, turbaned troops with mules, parade in foothills, native riders demonstrating horse-riding skills and prize giving.
Notes
Summary: Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Scott-Moncrieff (1909-1997) served in India from 1929-1936, during which time he visited China, Japan, Korea, Manchuria, Malaya and Ceylon, reporting on his visits to the British Army. Served as instructor to Anti-Aircraft Defence of Great Britain in 1937, then member of British Military Mission to Egyptian Army 1938-1940, and taken prisoner in Greece in 1941.
