Synopsis
Amateur film shot by Captain Torquil MacLeod of the 71st Highland Light Infantry.
British adults and children, wearing solar topees, attend fete at Churat. British soldiers (presumably Highland Light Infantry) with solar topees construct picket (picquet) or defensive position with machine-gun and barbed wire protection. On parade. Departure of trucks down winding road, including civilian family. City scenes (Bombay, according to note in can). British soldiers prime and throw grenades and fire mortars.
