Synopsis

Amateur film shot by Doctor Gordon Thompson, a Church Missionary Society medical missionary working at the Henry Lester Institute of Medical Research in Shanghai (1927-1937), records ceremony of Armistice Day in Hong Kong, where Colonial Governor lays wreath at Cenotaph and British Army and Royal Navy forces parade.

Summary: Original Kodak box is addressed to Dr Gordon Thompson, Foreign YMCA, 150 Bubbling Well Road, Shanghai and marked Develop Before Feb 1936, and stamped 18 Nov 1935, presumably the date of dispatch or processing.
