Synopsis

Gold Coast. Lodge holiday retreat deep in hilly country overlooking lake. Young British lady poses in front of Official car, which has Union Jack flying from its bonnet. British official demonstrates the use of Reflex camera to wife in garden area while in the background there is parked official Rolls Royce. The family party of young women and 2 male adults lark for the camera and then take a picnic tea on the veranda of the Lodge .Two of the guests smoke while eating their food. A uniformed chauffeur stands proudly by the car. The chauffeur then joins another uniformed chauffeur in the field by the Lodge where they play "Tag" with some local youths who are dressed only in their vests.

Production / Donor Details: Donor's grandfather, Sir Francis Walter F Jackson was Chief Commissioner, Gold Coast (Ghana) 1934-36.
