Chaukan I. Diyum River. Flood rescues; elephants; Captain Whitehouse rescue. Rossiter family rescue.

Chaukan II. Namgoi Nuk. Rescue operations of refugees coming from Burma by Abors and Mishmis, and Mackrell.

Chaukan III. Parachute drop at Dapha. Supplies being dropped. Assam Rifles take supplies to Fort Herts by elephants. Chaukan Pass.

Chaukan IV. Kaikhe River. Continuation of rescue operation (1377ft).
