Synopsis

AMATEUR FILM

Reel 1: Aerial view of Malaysia from plane; Kuala Lumpar; Kuala Lumpar airport; taking off in a Beever Aircraft and interiors during flight; aerial view; KUANTAN AIRPORT: landing and airport buildings; aerial views of coast; DUNGAN AIRSTRIP: single track railway to mine; train interiors and views of landscape; stations at Bendai and Serdang; the river Dungun in flood: EMMCO - EASTERN MINING AND METALS CO: office exterior and interior with secretaries and admin staff; workers receiving wages and in laboratory; shops interiors; sawmill exterior and operations; workers in open truck.

Reel 2: Children playing outside EMMCO Cinema; Malaysians outside houses, feeding chicks, in fields, gathering together, scything grass, playing football. Englishmen on veranda having tea; reading the magazine `London Calling' and playing tennis.
