Synopsis

AMATEUR FILM of a husky and sled journey and a medical centre and orphanage in St Anthony set up by Wilfrid T. Grenfell, an English medical missionary.

LS iceberg, huskies crossing ice to icebound steamship. Ship moves forward a small distance. Luggage unloaded onto ice (75). Huskies pulling sled. Brief shots men walking unsteadily round grounds of medical centre. Brief shot of icebergs in sea. LS medical centre in snow (240). Schoolchildren playing outside school (260). Huskies pulling sleds in forests. They arrive at schoolhouse, children crowd around . Huskies untied from sled and given water (350). Huskies puling sled again. Sled at medical centre.
