Synopsis

A look at the Metro-Cammell factory in Birmingham which designs and builds a variety of metro trains, looking in particular at the planning and building of the 'Kowloon Connection', a metro system between Hong Kong and Kowloon. The designing and testing of the trains for the new system are both covered in the film. The film also looks at the differences between the metro systems used on Tyne and Wear and those in Glasgow.
