How the coconut palms from Travancore are processed and used. Shows the picking of the fruit, de-husking, drying and extraction of oil for use in soap, vinegar, cooking and light. Further products involve the breaking down of the fibre by native women and manufature of yarn, matting, bags, brooms and fuel.
