Synopsis

Hardwar, a holy town of pilgrimage where the Ganges cuts through the Siwalk hills - views of the Ganges canal, water front and temples. Pilgrim's camps for the Kumbh Mela, bridge especially by the Roorkee Sappers for the Kumbh Mela traffic. Crowds at Harkipur. Hardwar Bazaar- fakirs, shops and crowds, monkeys on the road. Car journey over fields and through streets. Elephant used for carrying wood. Animals on the road. Tiger's head in the grass (fake). Vultures on tiger's body in the distance. Family scenes with new baby. Rugby match.
