Synopsis

I. A 3-in-1 whaler is lowered from HMS Victorious; slings are unhooked and removed. Whaler under oars in medium sea. LA MS track down starboard side of Victorious (R.38) in harbour - near stern, whaler is hooked on ready for hoisting. Scimitar and Skyraider aircraft parked on deck.

II. Aerial view, Portland Races.

III. General view of Sliema Creek, Malta - HMS Daring D.05), Lagos (D.44), Hogue (D.74), Camperdown (D.32), Delight (D.119), Puncheston (M.1174), Defender (D.114) and Saintes (D.70) are present.

IV. Launch closes on anchored Headquarters ship, 2nd Minesweeping Squadron, HMS Woodbridge Haven (P.58).

V. HMS Birmingham at moorings flying Rear Admiral's flag - Fleet Clearance (FCDT) launch alongside. Diver in launch picks up underwater torch.

VI. Woodbridge Haven hoists emergency signal and sounds siren. Sentries (one from Undaunted) keep watch on deck. Ranger Class oiler in background.
