20 Aug. 1943. General Giraud is greeted at Luqa Airfield by Air Vice Marshal Sir Keith Park and Major General W H Oxley. He inspects the RAF Regiment Guard of Honour and proceeds to Verdalla Palace where he is greeted by Lord Gort. He is shown around the blitzed Malta Dockyard by Admiral Mackenzie. The General and Lord Gort leave the car and go into the Palace. At the airfield he inspects the Guard of Honour before his departure.

6 Sep. 1943. George Formby and his wife Beryl entertain a large crowd of Forces and civilians at Rockyvale, Malta's only open air theatre built for the troops by ENSA. At the Combined Services Convalescent Home at Ghajn Tuffieha they give an impromptu show after the real one for the benefit of the camera. The song being sung is "Bless 'Em All". The audience consists mainly of troops and sailors who were wounded in the Sicilian Campaign. After the show Formby fools for the camera around the camp cookhouse.

7 Sep. 1943. Lord Gort inspects the first American Army Unit to be stationed in Malta. Together with Major General Christie he is shown around the positions by Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Beubaker, the Commanding Officer of the Unit.
