Synopsis

Movement of transport towards the fighting at the Battle of El Alamein.

Transport, anti-aircraft guns and tanks moving forwards towards El Alamein positions. Shelling of enemy column. Column moving forward from escarpment to engage the enemy column. The 3rd Royal Horse Artillery engaging enemy column beyond the ridge. General Lee tanks of the 4th Hussars watching enemy movements, soldier looks through binoculars. New Grant tanks being taken forward on transporters.
