Synopsis

Trials with DDT carried out in the Takoradi-Axim area of the Gold Coast, West Africa.

Secondary forest and dense cover and general views of the trials area. Dense forest. Mangrove and fresh water swamps. Roads and paths to villages. Scene in village with natives. Coconuts, bananas, mangos. Aerodrome buildings at Takoradi. Anti mosquito drainage canals. Dumps of materials to be used in the trials; vehicles. Preparation of M10 spray tanks prior to fitting on aircraft. Spray tank charging DDT solution being prepared. Spray tanks loaded onto aircraft. Trial sortie by one aircraft spraying over trials area.

Technical Condition: Good. This film needs considerable splice repair before projection.
