Synopsis

Trials with DDT carried out in the Takoradi-Axim area of the Gold Coast, West Africa.

Field equipment loaded onto vehicles. Radio communication equipment. Communication roads and tracks; cutting way through jungle for vehicle access. Mosquito breeding swamps: Cotton wood trees. Nine Vengeance aircraft used for spraying sorties. Five aircraft sortie spraying. One aircraft landing to refuel to make up second five aircraft sortie. Second sortie spraying. Sampling cards in trials area showing ground spray concentration. No 3 smoke generators functioning in DDT mode in villages and over cocoa plantations.

Technical Condition: Good. This film needs extensive splice repair before projection.
