FALKLANDS - THE LAND BATTLE PART 2: TOWARDS STANLEY

This film is held by the Imperial War Museum (ID: DRA 1578).

Synopsis

Port Stanley would clearly be the key battlefield; Part 2 highlights the importance of concentrating the maximum number of battalions/commandos for that battle as quickly as possible. It deals with the Argentine air attacks, the problems of logistics, the "tab/yomp", the battle of Darwin/Goose Green, the arrival of General Moore and 5 Infantry Brigade, and the move round of 5 Infantry Brigade. It concludes with Land Forces poised on the high ground of Mts. Kent and Challenger, ready for the decisive battles.
