Synopsis

Footage of preparations for an amphibious assault, by British troops of 3 Commando Brigade and by Indian Army tanks of the 19th Lancers, against the Myebon Peninsula in the Arakan region of Burma.

Notes

According to the official history, the landings at Myebon were made on 12 January 1945. The commandos made good progress, but vehicles were held up by the muddiness of the landing beaches.
