Synopsis

I. "BOMBAY CELEBRATES VICTORY IN EUROPE". Thanksgiving services and V-Day Parades held in Bombay. II. "REPATS ARRIVE HOME IN INDIA". Indian Pioneer Corps return home from service in the Middle East, Greece and Italy. III. "TRIBUTE TO THE FIRST MAHRATTA V.C. NAIK YESHWANT GHADGE". Ghadge recieves the V.C. posthumously, for his bravery in the Italian campaign. His widow receives a purse of ten thousand rupees and a yearly income of five hundred rupees from the Bombay government. IV. "THE BURMESE SCENE". Allied soldiers and Burmese civilians collect supplies that have been dropped into the open fields outside of the city.
