Synopsis

I. "WAR MINDEDNESS AT HIGH LEVEL IN THE UNITED PROVINCES". Sir Maurice Hallett, Governer of the United Provinces is introduced to civil officers of the Bichhia Labour Camp and visits the Provincial Fruit and Vegetable Show with his wife. II. "HEROES HONOURED". Indian soldiers are decorated for bravery across the country. III. "INDIA'S CONTRIBUTION TO UNRRA". Mr. Francis Sayre, who leads the UNRRA Mission, arrives at Simla to discuss India's role in the programme and to agree on anti-famine precautions. IV. "BENGAL'S RALLY TO SAFEGUARD FOOD SUPPLIES". The Governor of Bengal, Mr. Casey, inspects the state's grain supplies. V. "INDIAN LEADERS LEAVE SIMLA". The last pictures from the failed Simla Conference.
