Sir Homi inspects welfare arrangements for Indian troops in Cairo as part of an extensive tour of the Mediterranean. III. "MANY NOTABLES RETURN TO INDIA". Many prominent Indians, like the Maharaja of Jaipur, have returned from overseas service. IV. "CESSATION OF WAR DOES NOT STOP RECRUITMENT". Recruitment drive in the Punjab as the Armed Forces continue to guarantee India's security. V. INDIAN ARMY'S 31ST V.C. FETED AT MORADABAD". Lachhiman Gurung of the 8th Gurkha Rifles receives a Victoria Cross for his bravery at Taungdar. VI. BOMBAY'S MILK SUPPLY HAS PERSONAL ATTENTION OF SIR J.P. SRIVASTAVA".
