Synopsis

I. "5,000 INDIANS REPATRIATED FROM RABAUL". Britain's aircraft carrier 'Formidable' enters Bombay Harbour, carry 1,200 Indian soldiers recently freed from the Japanese prison camp of Rabaul. II. "Rs. 300,000/- FOR THE KAMALA NEHRU FUND". The 'People's Purse' will be used to maintain a hospital in commemoration of Jawaharlal's lost wife Kamala. III. "POPPY DAY IN MALAYA". On Armistice day, a ceremony was held at Singapore to honour those who died in the First and Second World War. An Armistice Day was also held at Kuala Lumpur in Malaya. IV. "AUSTRALIANS & INDIANS DRAW THE FIRST UNOFFICIAL TEST MATCH". Match report.
