At Madras the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce assemble to pay tribute to the help and co-operation received from the Maharaja of Travancore. III. "LARGER AIR LINES FOR INDIAN AIR ROUTES". At Bombay's Juhu airport Tata Airlines inaugurate the new Dakota passenger service for air travel to India. IV. "ALL-INDIA EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE AT MADRAS". Sir Arthur Hope, Governor of Madras, attends the All India Educational Conference and speaks to the delegates. V. "POLICE BEAT INDEPENDENTS ONE GOAL TO NIL IN PUNJAB HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP". Match report. VI. "SUPREMO PRESENTS CAPTURED JAPANESE GUN TO INDIA'S COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF". The Japanese gun is presented by Admiral Mountbatten, Supreme Commander, South East Asia.
