Synopsis

I. "ASSAM VILLAGE DEFENCE STANDS DOWN". Sir Mohammed Saadulla, Premier of Assam, addresses Defence Volunteers assembled at the parade ground. II. "ISMAILIS PREPARE FOR H.H. THE AGA KHAN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE". Members of the Executive Committee of the Aga Khan Legion assemble at His Highness's residence to discuss the preparations that are being made for weighing him in diamonds on March 10th. The full value of the precious stones will be distributed to Ismaili Khoja charities. III. "THE VIKRAM EXHIBITION". The Regent Maharani of Sawanthwadi opens the cultural exhibition in Bombay. IV. "WITH THE VICEROY IN AHMEDABAD". Lord Wavell visits Ahmedabad, the capital of Gujerat, Bombay and Poona. V. "BRITISH PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION IN INDIA". The delegation arrives at the airport in Karachi to begin a six-week information collecting tour of India, beginning in Peshawar, capital of the North West Frontier Province.
