Synopsis

I. Newsreel item on convalescent Indian soldiers who have visited the tomb of Lord Roberts, Saint Paul's Cathedral, London, June 1915.

The men, in uniform and not visibly injured, come down the steps of the cathedral after visiting the tomb. The inside of the cathedral and the tomb itself are not shown.

II. Newsreel item on the arrival of Sergeant Michael O'Leary VC in Dublin, June 1915.

The crowd gathers round O'Leary's open coach as it arrives outside the Town Hall. He tries to shake hands with all the people as his coach stops. Later, he is posed with a number of dignitaries on the back steps of the Town Hall.
