Synopsis

Unedited film of the Nebi-Nusa festivals, the arrival of the International Zionist Commission, and the visit of Egyptian 1st Infantry Regiment to the Mosque of Omar, Jerusalem, April 1918.

This is the unedited material used in IWM 45 the NEBI-NUSA FESTIVALS, taken by the British official cameraman. Apart from this material, the film also contains portrait shots of the military governor of Jerusalem, Lieutenant-Colonel Ronald Storrs, and of Major-General Sir L J Bols.

Notes

Title: this is taken from the shotsheet.

Summary: just after the Wailing Wall sequence in this film appears an MS flashframe "Lowell Thomas to join here". This suggests that some of the film in the finished version may be by Lowell Thomas. See IWM 41 and IWM 45.
