Synopsis

The Supreme Allied Commander of South East Asia Command, Lord Louis Mountbatten, arrives by flying boat to meet troops.

View from a beach or lakeside; a small biplane flying boat, probably a Supermarine Sea Otter, can be seen on the water in the distance. Mountbatten comes ashore and is greeted. Mountbatten talking with British troops, possibly commandos. Mountbatten climbs down a large metal structure, possibly a beached landing ship or similar. Distant view of the flying boat taking off. Sea Otter in flight.
