Synopsis

Incomplete film on the role of British forces around the world in the mid 1960s, including a summary of the British units stationed in Gibraltar, Cyprus, North Africa, Aden, Singapore, Hong Kong and Guyana. Ian Mikardo, Labour MP for Poplar, comments on the overstretch of British forces around the world and the need to scale back in accordance with the limitations imposed by the British economy.
