Synopsis

I. "Small change once more." Introductory shots of German shoppers using postage stamps for small change owing to shortage of coin; Bavarian Minister President Ehard and US Governor Van Wagoner at Munich mint start up presses, for production, checking and packing of 5 Pfennig coins.

II. "Bilder aus aller Welt." a. A whole "town" of preconstructed wooden buildings moved in Washington State, USA. b. Plague of locusts in New South Wales. c. Kenyan settlers' festival of sports, African dances, and 'hunting' of mechanised 'animals'.

III. German table-tennis championships in Gttingen.

IV. A virtuoso performance by US horseshoe-throwing champion Tex Rogers.

V. "Alle Jahre wieder..." A succession of Christmas images. a. German children putting out their shoes for St. Nikolaus on Christmas eve. b. Material from old clothes used to make dolls. c. An 11-year old girl playing carols on a church organ. d. Exhibition of Medieval and Renaissance church carvings in a Munich museum. e. The Viennese Boys' Choir sings carols at an old people's home. f. Christmas Eve sunset and midnight service in Alpine village; candles and church bells.
