Exhibition on Victoria Island to coincide with Independence (1/10/1960). Inspection of the guard of honour by the Prime Minister (Abubukar Tafawa Balewa). Crowds arrive. Industrial and commercial developments displayed. Works of art from Nigeria's history. Model of an irrigation project, A relief map of farming in Nigeria. Vegetables and fruit. Agricultural developments. Western Nigeria TV stand. Eastern Region's produce: palm oil, rubber, fabrics. A brief look at various stands: Weaving loom; Nestlé stand; trading companies; ICI stand; Land Rover; Shipping and Nigeria stand; Power for Nigeria stand, electricity; Jallen cars; Dunlop; NTC.
