Synopsis

Travel diary shot by Mr Silk during his farewell tour of Africa after leaving his job as Agricultural Officer in Ghana. Tour begins in Cairo.

Production / Donor Details: Mr Silk was an Agricultural Officer on the Gold Coast between 1942 and 1955. This film was taken by him on his farewell tour of Africa in 1956 before taking up a post as Lecturer in Tropical Agriculture at Cambridge for the Overseas Service.
